Mission

Our Mission

At PUC we have a strong fervor to share in the cause of Christ to see people and societies restored and redeemed to the way God created life to be. We engage practically in many different mission endeavours locally, nationally and internationally and we encourage all who are a part of PUC to be involved.

OUR NEIGHBOURS MINISTRY
OUR NEIGHBOURS MINISTRY

Our Neighbours Ministry began with a vision to show God’s love to the poorest of the poor in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The current Director, Martin Barrow, is a former member of PUC. This charity provides support and assistance to many people who were homeless, living in squatter camps, elderly, sick and orphaned children. Many PUC members speak of the night that $36,000 was raised at the evening service to buy the babies home. They seek to help by providing homes for abandoned babies, orphans and street children; supporting children and young adults in their education; running a soup kitchen and providing assistance and support for the sick, widowed and elderly. See the links below to find out more or make a donation.

CROSSROADS INTERNATIONAL
CROSSROADS INTERNATIONAL

Crossroads Foundation is a Hong Kong based, non-profit organisation serving global need. We believe that, in a broken world that sees too much suffering, we should do all we can to link those who are in need with those who can provide help. So we provide an intersection, literally a crossroads, to bring both together.  A number of members of PUC have volunteered with Crossroads, the latest being Clive Coombes who has made a huge commitment and moved there.

HIGH SCHOOL CHRISTIAN SCRIPTURE

We are part of the Pittwater Area School Workers Christian Association (PASWCA) Committee. This organisation supports the Christian Schools Worker who provides spiritual and welfare support to high schools in the Pittwater area. This organization is based on the teaching and model of Jesus Christ who came to seek and save the lost.
